FreeFree Workshop Examines Health-focused Community Response to IPV
The Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence’s (MCADSV) is offering
a free training program, Health-Focused Community Response to Intimate Partner Violence Assessment and Prevention, on Feb. 29 at the Mt. Pleasant Comfort Inn.
This six-hour training, conducted by staff from the national organization Futures
Without Violence and MCADSV, is geared toward community teams made up of health
care providers, administrators, and support staff partnered with staff from local
domestic and sexual violence service agencies. Continuing education credits for
nurses and social workers will be available for a minimal cost.
