The conference registration is free (hotel costs and details are provided) and will once again take place at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing Michigan. This conference is for all of our public and private child welfare (CPS, foster care, adoption and licensing) workers and supervisors and our contract providers who work with the children and families that we serve. Staff will hear an amazing keynote presentation by Dr. Alyson Leslie from Dundee University, Scotland on responses to and improvements for child death assessments, investigations and casework. Conference break-outs will address a variety of topic areas, all with the central focus of improving child and family safety outcomes. This conference will provide annual training hours for all staff.
