Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center is currently accepting registrations for their upcoming Medical/Legal Training Academy to be held in Huntsville, Alabama on November 2-4, 2017. The training is designed for:

• Healthcare providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, sexual assault nurse examiners and physician assistants) who provide medical evaluations for suspected victims of child abuse
• Prosecutors or child protection attorneys handling criminal or civil cases of child abuse

We encourage both the healthcare provider and the prosecutor from the same MDT to attend; however, the training is also valuable to individual MDT members who fulfill these roles.
