SUID Investigation: Infant Growth and Development

The National Institute of Justice is sponsoring a series of live virtual training courses on Sudden Unexplained Infant Death Investigation. Continuing education credits are offered.

Audience: Medical examiners; coroners; medicolegal death investigators; law enforcement, legal and other ancillary professionals.
Course Description: This course is an overview of infant growth and development and how it relates to sudden, unexplained infant death investigations. The first part of the course will review normal and abnormal infant growth. The second part of the course will review growth monitoring, including the tools used to monitor infant growth, and the last part of the course will review infant developmental milestones.
