Investigating the Dynamics of Child Prostitution and Encouraging Change

Three national speakers bring their expertise to you in this full day of working together to combat child prostitution.
Kevin Mulcahy will discuss investigating, charging and trying child prostitution cases. This program targets law enforcement, social workers and prosecutors in the challenges of handling criminal investigations into prostitution rings that use minors. From initiating investigations, to preparing for trial, to working with the child prostitutes that often don’t see themselves as victims. this discussion will prepare you and your cases going forward.
Marc Klass will discuss Human Trafficking in the U.S. and how the U.S. has responded. Discussion will also include how law enforcement and social service agencies can readdress their priorities to deal with the reality of domestic human trafficking.
Chip St. Clair will be “Inspiring C.H.A.N.G.E in today’s youth”.
This seminar will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011. The seminar will begin with registration at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 4:30 p.m.
