Specialized Child Abuse Training: Drug Endangered Children

Training Overview:
An Overview of Michigan’s Medical Marihuana Act & Identifying and Investigating Meth Exposed Children.
Ken Stecker, PAAM’s Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor, will review the “Medical Marihuana Act.” The Act permits the possession and use of marihuana to treat or alleviate conditions or symptoms associated with certain debilitating medical conditions. Attendees will learn who is protected by the Act and the activities (possession, cultivation, use, etc…) authorized by the Act. D/Lt. Tony Saucedo, with the Methamphetamine Investigation Team at MSP, will discuss the direct and indirect risks of meth exposure to a child.
